Olympic Flame' tulip is a Darwin hybrid tulip, one of the most reliable groups of tulips for perennial performance in the landscape. Its dazzling golden petals erupt with streaks of red, similar to a flickering flame. It grows up to 2 feet tall and blooms in mid- to late spring.

Each of these big, bright yellow tulips is a unique work of art. The petals are decorated inside and out with a flourish of crimson red brush strokes. Like all Darwin hybrids, Olympic Flame's blossoms are large and long-lasting. The long, graceful stems make them ideal for bouquets.

Planting Growing Instructions
Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 10-15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil. Tulips delight during their growth in a sunny location.

Cultural Instructions
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.
